Victoria's thesis examined how healthcare reform, particularly the Affordable Care Act (ACA), has driven a surge in organizational mergers, and how those mergers affect the well-being and performance of healthcare employees.
Through an in-depth survey of over 180 future healthcare professionals, her research uncovered a significant gap in awareness of healthcare laws and merger impacts among students entering the field. She provided strategic recommendations for curriculum development to better prepare tomorrow's healthcare workforce.

Graduate Assistantship - CMU College of Medicine
As an accelerated graduate student, Victoria contributed to high-level operations within Faculty & Staff Affairs (HR) by implementing a new applicant tracking system that streamlined credentialing and simplified onboarding for faculty appointments, a foundational improvement in academic HR processes.
She also partnered with the Admissions Department to lead a MOCK OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) experience for prospective medical students. These simulated, station-based scenarios allowed participants to engage in clinical tasks and receive real-time evaluation, enhancing student preparedness and institutional reputation.
Student Ambassador & Peer-to-Peer Marketing Contributor
Victoria also served as a CMU MSA-HSA Accelerated Program Ambassador, playing a key role in student recruitment through the Peer-to-Peer Street Marketing Program. She developed and presented targeted marketing materials to prospective students, which led to an increase in program interest, submitted applications, and ultimately, enrollment and revenue for the college.
